On October 21st, 2019, all major importers and distributors of Ayurvedic products met themselves for the first time in Frankfurt. The meeting was focused on
constructive and comprehensive cooperation in the field of guaranteed safety for Ayurvedic Products to be sold in Germany.
The ADAVED board invited to this kick-off meeting and moderated the meeting and supports the specialist group in their work. Mrs. Gayatri Puranik, who represents the board member of OM Vital GmbH, has been taking over the leading role of this group.
The specialist group has set itself following tasks:
- The creation of guidelines for the legally compliant and sustainable introduction and marketing of Ayurvedic products in the German-speaking and European market;
- the establishment of current quality and testing standards;
- providing guidance for those seeking advice.
At the first ADAVED general meeting (02.11.2020), the group of importers and distributors was officially announced under the umbrella of ADAVED as a specialist group for manufacturing and products. The members elected Mr. Uwe Gramminger (euroved GmbH) as head of the panel and Mrs. Gayatri Puranik (OM Vital GmbH) will continue to support him as co-head.
Following additional members are actively involved in the specialist group, which meets on a weekly basis:
Mr. Hartmut Föller for Cosmoveda e.K., Mr. Wolfgang Keicher for AHG Ayurveda Handels GmbH, Mr. Prof. Dr. Martin Mittwede for Rosenberg AyurMed GmbH and Mr. Sanjay Tambe‘ for Santulan AUM-Kurzentrum für Ayurveda.
